Toray Growing in Europe

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI

Toray Industries, Tokyo, Japan, will establish Toray Films Europe (TFE) in Rhône-Alpes, France (on the same site as Toray Plastics Europe), for the production of Torayfan BOPP high-barrier metallized film. Toray Plastics (America) will drive the development of the new business's film technology and help establish TFE as a core production base in Europe. Toray Industries expects to invest about US$100 million in the project.
