NAStar Upgrades Direct Thermal Film

MIDDLETON, WI | NAStar reports that HotSafe Direct Thermal Film now has a brighter, whiter film face stock and greater scuff resistance, making it more durable.

Company says the heat-, chemical,- and UV-resistant ribbonless film maintains the same physical properties to complement its enhanced appearance and durability. With T1055 adhesive, the film is said to stick securely to virtually all surfaces, withstands even the most extreme environments, and removes when required. Also said to be an economic alternative when compared to Direct Thermal Film and Thermal Transfer Film with a ribbon.

Safe in temperatures up to 266 deg F without imaging, the film is also unaffected by moisture as the printed image is not impacted by water, steam, or other liquids. It is said to be safe to use on hot, cold, wet, dry, and frozen surfaces and is safe for food contact, compliant with FDA 21CFR 175.105
