NAStar's Repositionable Note Material Now Without USPS Surcharge

MIDDLETON, WI | NAStar Inc. reports the United States Post Office has removed the surcharge on direct mail offerings with USPS-approved MailNotes repositionable notes (RPNs).

Mailers now can use the attention-grabbing notes to increase their response rates. Label converters can boost their sales by offering MailNotes RPNs to direct marketers looking to increase their response rates and build traffic.

NAStar offers unconverted pressure-sensitive roll stock designed to be converted into 3x3 in. MailNotes RPNs, available in laser and inkjet printable White Gloss and Plain Yellow. Label converters may offer clients a variety of USPS-approved adhesive patterns including traditional Flag, patented DOT, and full gum Editor’s Choice adhesive—all featuring NAStar’s Temporary Adhesive Products. MailNotes RPNs are versatile and designed for auto-application at press speeds for a variety of label affixing equipment in both linered and linerless constructions.

The removal of the surcharge is associated with mailing MailNotes RPNs attached to letter and flat size commercial First-Class Mail, Standard Mail, and Periodicals, thus increasing the interest to add repositionable notes to print advertising. MailNotes RPNS increase direct mail response rates: In a study conducted by the United States Postal Service, RPNs increased advertising response rates by over 45%.*
