Adhesive Offers High Performance

V-606 is described as a high-performance adhesive that offers excellent adhesion to a variety of surfaces, including metals and plastics. According to mfr., V-606 exhibits high shear at elevated temperatures, increasing its resistance to cold flow and ooze at heavy coating weights.
P-S Label Stock Meets Automotive Specs

P-S film stock, designed for harsh-environment labeling, features a 2-mil, white, polyester facestock and P1650 permanent tackified acrylic adhesive. Available with a variety of liners, this water-based adhesive has passed OEM automotive underhood specifications. Said to offer excellent thermal stability and resistance to moisture, engine oil, gasoline, antifreeze, brake fluid, water solutions, salt spray, and weather.
Transfer Tapes Use Acrylic Adhesives

Transfer tapes for making integrated labels have a 40# SCK protective liner with a low release system said to strip off easily in the converting process. Tape #16159 comes with a 30#, 1.9-mil functional liner and is suited for most integrated label applications. Tape #15596 has a 35#, 2.75-mil liner for applications that require greater form stability and stiffness. The acrylic emulsion adhesives used provide excellent die-cutting and ensure compatibility with laser printer, mfr. reports.
Splicing Tapes Offer Superior Adhesion

ARclad 0040 is described as a single-faced, white repulpable splicing tape designed with superior adhesion properties, exceptional tear resistance, extensibility, and structural memory to allow for roll conformability. ARclad 0041 is a highly visible blue tape for easy splice ID. Both are said to maintain a high level of tack over a range of conditions and are appropriate for roll finishing, roll tabbing, core starting, butt splicing, and perfect splicing applications.
PSA Suited for Labels in Cold Applications

Designed for PE and paper labels that must serve in cold (20 deg F) applications. Said to form tenacious bonds with a variety of substrates, including PET and recycled corrugated board. Water-borne, tackified PSA appears as a milky white emulsion before use but cures to a clear, colorless film.
Make Label Stock with One-Part Adhesive, Silicone System

CraigCure 1045XA silicone release coating coupled with CraigCure 1029 PSF adhesive is a one-part adhesive and silicone system designed to allow label printers to manufacture label stocks in-house. Said to offer excellent mileage, up to 6 lb of peel strength, and excellent resistance to moisture and high temperatures. Adheres to a wide variety of inks, films, and papers, as well as glass, metal, wood, and corrugated. UV-cured system can be applied by screen, flexo, roller coat, or gravure.

Hot melt #916B is a synthetic copolymer in granular form for the assembly and fabrication of dissimilar substrates, including vinyls, polyesters, cellulosics, and most synthetics. Offers tensile strength of 800 psi @2 in./min. Applied at temperatures between 175 and 250 deg F, product is said to offer ample open time for positioning operations.
P-S Adhesive Has High-Tack Properties

SilGrip PSA950 is a high-performance p-s adhesive designed for applications requiring high-tack properties. Mfr. says it offers excellent finger tack and quick-stick properties. Suitable for manufacturing splicing tapes.
UV-Curable Adhesives Bond Well at High Speeds

A series of UV-curable adhesives for mounting film windows in paperboard packaging and folding cartons is said to offer excellent bonding properties. Designed for use on high-speed converting equipment with various application methods. Said to have low odor upon curing.
