All-Servo, All the Time

The FPC multi-substrate press is completely servo-driven and prints at speeds to 1,000 fpm. Features an in-line printhead design said to provide stability and high printing reproduction. Available in web widths of 16, 20, 24, 28, and 32 in., press can print substrates ranging from 60-ga film to 24-pt board.

Shrink-Label Film is Roll-Fed

Label Software is Upgraded

VersaStyle 3.4 is an updated version of label-making software for use with Easyprint Thermal Transfer printers and coders. New features include USB hardlock; the ability to open files created in older versions; a “save as” feature that allows files to be saved in older formats; and improved OLE interface for use with custom programming.

Sheeted Label Materials Offered

Company now offers label materials in sheeted form, reportedly giving screen printers greater flexibility for meeting customer needs at a competitive price. Materials feature UV-approved topcoats, polyester and vinyl facestocks, and advanced adhesive technology.

Shrink-Label Film Joins Line

The Pentaprint line of shrink-label films now includes E749/22, a polyester film with multiple shrink characteristics for all full-body shrink-sleeve labels. Said to combine high shrink properties with little to no MD shrinkage and low shrink force to produce a finished label that remains uniform across the most highly contoured container, in particular the bottom portion of the container.
