IPACK-IMA 2012 Preview

MILAN, ITALY | The 22nd edition of IPACK-IMA, scheduled from Feb. 28-March 3, 2012, at the Fiera Milano exhibition center in Milan, will feature a new package printing segment that will join the traditional exhibits of machinery, technology, and materials for processing, packaging, and material handling. The event, first held in 1961, is expected to draw 1,400 exhibitors (29% from outside of Italy).

Included will be an international convention dealing with technology as a means of ensuring food sustainability and safety. IPACK-IMA 2012 is part of a multi-year campaign that began in 2009 and is developing with the support of the United Nations' food agencies, UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization), and WFP (World Food Programme).
