Global Paper Solutions Paperboard Boasts Benefits

ATLANTA, GA | Global Paper Solutions (GPS, a strategic affiliate of Asia Pulp & Paper (APP), has begun carrying Zenith Hi-Brite Premium, a new paperboard said to combine sustainability, quality, and price.

The company, a North American distributor of paperboard and packaging, says the product offers 94 Brightness, multiple point and size options, more product per dollar, a cost-yield advantage, and quick-turn capabilities.

GPS worked with APP to create to product, and reports that APP’s machines are able to utilize the same amount of pulpwood in the production process to create a longer sheet. This is not only an environmental benefits, says the company but the higher yield presents a substantial built-in cost advantage for customers.

Company is now offering several pre-cut and size options that range from 12–24 pt including roll widths to accommodate most press configurations. Nine widths from 38.5 in. to 60.5 in. in various calipers are available for almost any kind of folding carton or commercial application. In addition, any roll width in any caliper can be custom ordered to 76 in. width.

Fresh roles are stocked at eight geographically strategic locations around the US, making for an expedient order, processing, and just-in-time delivery process.

“A combination of outstanding printability, cost-saving, and quick-turn capability is what our customers are demanding and what Zenith Hi-Brite delivers,” says Paresh Patil, director of operations for GPS. “This is a premium paperboard fast becoming a differentiator in the marketplace.”

Zenith Hi-Brite is also FDA compliant, reportedly making it an excellent match for food and pharmaceutical packaging, and it’s available with an added resistance barrier suited for “quick-serve” food packaging applications requiring grease resistance.
