Web Guide for High Tension

The RDG-5 web guide is said to be well suited for higher tension applications such as business forms or other strong webs run in widths to 26 in. Requiring no electrical controls or wiring, self-contained guide is easy to install and simple to operate, company says. The all-air unit is powered entirely by low-pressure, plant-supplied air and reportedly offers exceptional steering stability.

Print on Many Substrates

The CX1200 color label press delivers short-run, full-color digital label printing utilizing a fast, high-resolution color laser engine. Said to deliver quality, speed, and flexibility, press features print resolution to 2,400 dpi for smoother gradations and sharper text and graphics. Handles a wide variety of substrates including matte, semi-gloss and glossy laser plain papers, white and clear polyesters, and PVC.

Copolymer Is Tough

Covinax 462 is a clear, styrene-acrylic copolymer for permanent p-s applications that require high resistance to water and blush. High transparency makes it ideal for use in clear film labels used on glass and plastic surfaces, company says. Works well on labels for indoor use as well as those that will be exposed to the outdoor elements. Has high shear properties and coats well in both direct coating and transfer processes.
