Matik Appointed Exclusive Agent for Olbrich in North America

WEST HARTFORD, CT |  OLBRICH GmbH, headquartered in Germany, has appointed Matik Inc. as its exclusive agent for North America. Matik plans to expand OLBRICH’s presence in North America as well as provide US-based parts and service support to existing OLBRICH customers in the USA, Mexico, and Canada.

According to Gunter Roesler, director of International Business Development of OLBRICH GmbH, “In Matik Inc. we have an exceptionally well-established partner whose market and technology knowledge will open up long-term opportunities for us.”

Matik has been in business for 40 years and has strong competence in the fields of coating, printing, and winding. Matik’s expertise is the basis for this strategic partnership; to successfully serve the North American market to the benefit of all present and future customers.

On January 8, 2013, this strategic partnership was signed by the two CEO’s of OLBRICH GmbH, Dr. Stephan Funke, and Rolf Langkamp, and by the president of Matik Inc., Wolfgang Ripper.

OLBRICH GmbH designs, manufactures, installs, and services a wide range of machines and equipment for the roll-to-roll paper, film, and foil converting, technical textile, wall paper and floor covering industries worldwide.
