Catbridge Creates In-House Slitting/Rewinding Lab

PARSIPPANY, NJ | Catbridge has created an in-house slitting and rewinding lab at its Parsippany facility. This lab will enable converters to test new slitter designs and technologies and trial their specific materials.

The lab features two of the company's most recent and productive slitter/rewinders. One is the high-speed Model 900 duplex center winder with a 32-in. rewind diameter, said to have broad capabilities to handle materials including label stock, primary films, flexible packaging, and tapes.

The other is the 324FP single-shaft turret winder which company says precisely controls finished roll quality and provides a streamlined, ergonomic way to convert flexible packaging and other applications.
