Harper Corp. of America Honored by GAA

CHARLOTTE, NC | Global anilox roll supplier Harper Corp. of America reports it has won the Go-To-Market Agility Award from the Gravure Assn. of the Americas.

The company says it was chosen for this award because of its dedication to evolving with industry advances and customer needs. During the announcement, the GAA said, "Recognizing the cost challenges in gravure, Harper put its 40+ years in anilox manufacturing and 20+ years in making laser engraved ceramic rolls to innovate the laser imaged gravure cylinder in ceramic in 2005. Harper now produces ceramic cylinders with product gravure images and patterns. Other value-added aspects of the gravure cylinder include forward and reverse metering and allowing cylinder life measurement in calendars not impressions."

The honor was announced at the recent inaugural Gravure Management Excellence Awards.
