Apex North America Granted US Patent for GTT

METAALWEG, THE NETHERLANDS | Apex Group of Companies, a producer of anilox rolls for printing on corrugated board, flexible packaging, and labels, announces its Genetic Transfer Technology (GTT) has been granted its first US Patent.

The technology, which is described as the successor to traditional closed-cell anilox printing, utilizes a unique slalom structure in place of traditional anilox cells, which is said to result in a more consistent print result, simplified standardization, less downtime, and more profitability.

The company reports that GTT patents are pending in a number of markets around the world, including Brazil and the Far East.
