FTA Offers Updated, Expanded Guide to Flexo

BOHEMIA, NY | The Flexographic Technical Assn. (FTA) announces the debut of its expanded, fully revised, sixth edition of Flexography: Principles & Practices FP&P 6.0). The guide features more than 600 pages, 29 chapters (with additional content via download), hundreds of full-color illustrations, a detailed glossary of terms, and an extensive troubleshooting guide. 

According to FTA, those new to the industry will benefit from content on presses, ink and ink metering systems, and plate mounting, while the more practiced flexographer will find detailed information on statistical process control, competitive print processes, Flexographic Image Reproduction Specifications and Tolerances, design, platemaking, process color, and web inspection systems.

Additionally, this resource reportedly serves as a perfect companion guide for those pursuing the association’s FIRST Press, Prepress, and/or Implementation Certification program. Prices for the print version are $130 for FTA members and $260 for non-members.
