Teknek Introduces Quality Assurance Standard

GLASGOW, SCOTLAND | Teknek, a supplier of cleaning equipment for sectors including converting, printing, decorative surface, medical packaging, and more, has introduced a Quality Assured standard for its cleaning rollers and complementary adhesives.

Teknek’s managing director Stephen Mitchell says, “We have decided to benchmark our products against internationally recognized standards and test methods.…By assuring our products meet well publicized and relevant standards, we are hoping that the deliberate confusion caused by low quality copies will be reduced.”

The company says all of its cleaning rollers meet ISO 6123, and that all adhesive products are tested to FINAT 1, 8, 9 &12. All large cleaning rollers that operate at high speeds are dynamically balanced to ISO 1940-1:2003 G6.3, and company will be offering the higher specification of G2.5 for its very large rollers.

All products are compliant with both RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) and REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemical substances), company says, “reflecting our commitment to protecting our customers, our staff, and the environment from chemical hazards.”
