Webex REM Slitter Features Automated Options

NEENAH, WI | The REM 4440 Series from Webex is described as a highly efficient turret slitter/rewinder for roll-to-roll off-line or continuous in-line applications. 

Available in semi-automatic or fully automated configurations, the 4440 can include automated core loading, automated web cut-and-transfer for nonstop winding, automated end-of-roll tape insert, laser core positioning, automated knife positioning, and automated finished roll handling.

The basic configuration offers spacer-less differential rewind mandrels with programmed rewind tension standard. Slitting options include score, razor, and shear. The 4440 accommodates web widths from 18–72 in. at speeds to 1,200 fpm with rewind diameters to 24 in.
