BRATISLAVA, SLOVAK REPUBLIC | Printflow will feature the DIPS (digital ink preset system) at PRINT 13, September 8–12, at Chicago’s McCormick Place. The system is said to fit almost all presses and to make press CIP3 compatible. Links prepress workflow and press console, automatically programming ink key settings for each new job.
Company also offers the DC closed-loop color control system, said to offer a rapid turnaround while maintaining high levels of color consistency. Expands the benefits of CIP compatibility. When scans are executed, scan data is sent to DC automatically, where it displays both the measured values and the necessary key movements to correct the color. Data is then transferred to the press console, and console automatically adjusts the ink keys to enable the required colors to be achieved.
