Flint Group Plates Are Suited for Security Printing

STUTTGART, GERMANY | Flint Group Flexographic Products announces a new water-washable coating plate for UV varnishes. Both the conventional nyloprint WA-S and the nyloprint WA-S Digital printing plates are said to be suitable for in-house plate processing in the area of security and banknote printing. The plates are designed for high quality demands in in-line and off-line print finishing as well as solid and spot coating.

Company says the soft relief layer enables an optimal ink transfer and thus an excellent solid density of the ink, and the aluminum base provides a high level of dimensional stability, ensuring high register accuracy and printing quality.

Plates are called environmentally friendly since they can be processed with tap water only without need of any additives. They are said to be productive and cost effective for the user as have a processing time of just 25 to 35 minutes.
