Deco Paper Products Orders Martin Automatic Equipment

ROCKFORD, IL | Deco Paper Products, Louisville, KY, has ordered a non-stop splicing unwind and automatic transfer rewind from Martin Automatic Inc. The Martin splicer and rewind will be fitted to a new CI flexo press from the Fischer & Krecke division of the Bobst Group.
Deco is a division of Amscan Inc., the largest designer, manufacturer, and distributor of decorated party goods and party accessories. Howard Harding, president of Deco, cited the simplicity and reliability of Martin Automatic equipment in his production environment. “Our experience with Martin has been very solid over many years and multiple presses—a low TCO (total cost of ownership), a knowledgeable service group, and a quality company that stands behind and supports our equipment.”
The Martin model MTB automatic butt splicer and TR turret rewind are due to be installed with the new press in early 2015.
