Maxcess To Acquire Guiding Systems of Fives North American

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK | Maxcess Intl., a global leader in products and services for the web handling industry, has signed a purchase agreement to acquire the Guiding Systems business from Fives North American Combustion, Inc., headquartered in Cleveland, OH. The Fives North American Guiding Systems business, with more than 50 years experience in the web handling industry, will integrate with Fife Guiding Systems, under the Bertram Capital-owned Maxcess.
“The acquisition of Fives North American Guiding and subsequent integration with Fife highlights our continued interest in market penetration,” said Greg Jehlik, CEO of Maxcess. “Our focus is on expansion through organic growth, targeted product development and acquisition. Acquiring Fives provides Maxcess with an immediate extension of our guiding product range.”

Maxcess brands presently include Webex, Fife, Tidland, and MAGPOWR, combining 200 years of experience in web handling. Fives North American Guiding Systems is an application-focused provider of web and strip guiding, web spreading, and width measurement engineered solutions. Bertram Capital is a Northern California-based private equity firm focused on investing in middle-market business services, consumer, healthcare, industrial and technology companies.
