Inteplast Group Announces Acquisitions

LIVINGSTON, NJ | Inteplast Group has acquired certain assets of El-En Packaging Company and Haremar Plastic Manufacturing Ltd. The acquisition includes the operations located in Vaughan, ON, Canada. Inteplast will operate this business unit as part of Inteplast Bags and Films Corporation under the leadership of Integrated Bagging Systems president Joe Chen. The business will continue to be known as Haremar Plastic Manufacturing.
Group president Dr. John Young sees this acquisition as “further commitment on the part of Inteplast to this industry and solidifies our presence in the Canadian marketplace.…Haremar’s customers can expect a seamless transition in service and quality, for which Haremar has been well known in the industry.”
Founded in 1991, Inteplast Group manufactures integrated plastics, maintaining three divisions—AmTopp, Integrated Bagging Systems (IBS), and World-Pak. Inteplast has more than 6,500 employees and operates 50 manufacturing plants and seven offices while maintaining 14 warehouses throughout North America.
