DMS Offers Unwind/Rewind

LAKE ZURICH, IL | DMS, a supplier of products and services for rotary hot stamping, embossing, and optional equipment, offers an auxiliary unwind and rewind with optional mounting tower.

• Noncontact magnetic clutch mechanism

• Constant and adjustable tension control

• A 3-in. (76.2-mm) core diameter with pneumatic core holder

• A 12-in. (381-mm) roll diameter capacity

• A 1- to 3-HP AC motor driven depending on press width

System is said to deliver smooth and vibration-free operation to handle tension-sensitive thin films or foils, handles roll widths from 1-in. (25.4-mm) to press width, and is available for all presses to 20 in. (510 mm) wide.

Standard module includes numerous threaded holes to make individual mounting structure to position where needed. Optionally, the system can be mounted to existing die station, a DMS auxiliary die station, or to other areas on press with a DMS-designed mounting tower.
