ORANGE, CA | Label Impressions, a carbon neutral, FSC certified (https://us.fsc.org/en-us) label and flexible packaging printer, has expanded its operations into a new 30,000-sq-ft manufacturing space.
"This expansion has been in the works for several years and is part of our long term strategic plan," says Jeff Salisbury, president and CEO at Label Impressions. “The additional space will house our finishing operation, allow us to install new, wider web flexible package printing and converting equipment, and a digital label printing press.”
Specialties at the company include folded booklet labels, expanded content labels, IRCs, cold foil label printing, scratch and sniff labels, rotary screen labels, and special effects printing of labels and flexible packaging.
In tandem with the expansion, the company has installed two additional ten-color Nilpeter presses in 13- and 17-in. widths to assist in the development of unique label and pouch products such as the company’s “softscreen” print, said to be a low-cost alternative to screen printing.
The new 17-in. FB-4200 Nilpeter servo press is equipped with full UV-curing systems, auto register, and multi-web capabilities, reportedly opening doors to new and emerging markets.
