Dover Flexo Expands Production Capability

ROCHESTER, NH | Dover Flexo Electronics (DFE), supplier of tension measurement, tension display, and tension control products for a variety of industries worldwide, announces two new capital equipment purchases for the company’s machine shop. An automated lathe and a new milling machine were installed to allow the manufacturer to expand its capacity to build idler rolls and Tension Roll Transducers in-house. This expansion is said to ensure a smooth-flowing supply chain for idler roll and transducer customers.

The company says it has been a recognized leader in tension management products and service for the converting and web printing industries for the past 43 years. While the business has experienced challenging times, including the manufacturing sector’s downturn in the past decade, DFE says it has managed to survive and increase production by adhering to core values of engineering and service while maintaining a controlled product focus.
