ADF&PCD Shanghai Unveils 2019 Plans
- Published: January 18, 2019
Aerosol & Dispensing Forum (ADF) and Packaging of Perfume Cosmetics & Design (PCD) Shanghai 2019 is China’s only event specifically dedicated to the aerosol, dispensing, perfume, cosmetic, packaging & design community. It’s the only place where the region’s personal care, cosmetic and beauty companies can get together with global brands to network, learn, do business, and source the very latest innovations from some of the world’s top design agencies and packaging suppliers.
After its hugely successful launch last year, the show is back for its second edition, boasting leading suppliers, bringing with them innovation from all over the globe. This edition will be complimented by an increased focus on educational content, as well as a host of new interactive features and networking events, all designed to give visitors the tools and access they need to revitalise their packaging, increase brand awareness and boost their all-important sales.
The show returns to the Convention & Exhibition Center of International Sourcing, on 27 & 28 March, alongside the Pentawards Conference from the organisers of the world’s most prestigious packaging design awards – The Pentawards. This will feature a world-class line-up of globally renowned packaging designers and international brands. In fact, the first three names for the hotly anticipated Pentawards Conference have been revealed - Marubi, Yuesai and Suntory.
Alli McEntyre-Gaharan, Event Director of the ADF&PCD Portfolio, comments: “We are absolutely thrilled to be back in Shanghai again. We have been working hard to build on the success of last year and have a fantastic show in store. To already have Marubi, Yuesai and Suntory booked in to speak as part of our Pentawards Conference shows that ADF&PCD Shanghai is growing its influence within the region. We have big names joining the agenda every day, so stay tuned to hear who else will be taking to the stage.”
The Pentawards Exhibit is also returning to ADF&PCD Shanghai. This will provide visitors with the opportunity to see a unique selection of Pentawards winners in 2018 - the world’s most creative packaging designs.
The show will also feature the popular ADF Conference. This has been specifically designed to give visitors a fresh perspective on how to overcome common challenges, with a focus on technical packaging, aerosol innovation and futureproofing strategies.
McEntyre-Gaharan concludes: “The ADF&PCD Portfolio is already fully established in both Paris and New York - two of the key markets for cosmetic packaging professionals around the world. As one of the world’s leading event organisers, we are always looking for emerging markets where we can facilitate growth and help businesses unlock their full potential. China is exactly such a market.
“We all know that in addition to a thriving cosmetics sector, China’s appetite for cutting-edge technology is huge. That combination of tech and packaging is resulting in some fascinating developments. With an expanded show floor this will be an incredible opportunity to showcase these and indeed, all of the launches and innovations emerging in the region. We have already seen and heard about some of the products due to be unveiled, and we are still five months out from the show! It’s set to be an incredible event.”
Registration is now open for ADF&PCD Shanghai 2019. By registering online now, it is free, saving 1,600 RMB. Early registrants will also be given priority to book the sessions at the conferences when they become available ahead of the general public.
