FTA is taking its annual Fall Conference, themed “Time Is Money,” to Charlotte, N.C. The event, which is expected to gather more than 375 attendees will take place October 28-30 in the heart of downtown at the Sheraton Charlotte Hotel.
Keith Nagle of Phoseon Technology will be chairing the event. Session topics will be centered around the journey of a flexographically printed piece, from beginning to end. A separate tabletop exhibit showcasing more than 65 companies will be open intermittently between sessions as well as in the evenings throughout the duration of the conference, bringing technology solutions from the sessions to real-time fruition.
“I am excited to chair Fall Conference 2019 in the print hub city of Charlotte,” said Nagle. “This convergence of technical resources in the region, alongside those studying print from schools like Central Piedmont Community College and Clemson University, is key to our industry’s continued growth.
“This year, we will systematically review and follow the steps of optimization and fingerprint to show their importance in improving your process, quality, throughput and most important bottom line. This project-based conference will take you through the journey from proper component selection to final print with technical industry suppliers. I’m looking forward to Charlotte in October.”
Fall Conference 2019 will encompass several package printing and converting professionals, including printers/converters from multiple backgrounds including flexible packaging and label segments, suppliers, prepress providers, consumer product companies, designers, graphics firms and more.
