Xeikon Announces New Appointments

Three new senior staff were announced by Xeikon America, Inc. in support of the company’s growing digital printing business in North America.
“We see tremendous potential in the North American market, and with these announcements we have put an even stronger infrastructure into place to support our growth,” said Benoit Chatelard, president and CEO of Flint Group Digital Solutions, Xeikon’s parent company. “One of the hallmarks of Xeikon’s 30+ years in the digital printing industry has been an unrelenting focus on the customer’s needs. These three individuals were appointed with that principle in mind.”
The Graphic Arts/Commercial Print segment of Xeikon’s U.S. and Canadian business will be led by Nancy Pappas who has been appointed director, graphic arts sales in North America. She has responsibility for all sales activities in the graphic arts segment in the United States and Canada, reporting to Monika Olbricht, global sales director graphic arts. A graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, Pappas’s leadership experience includes more than 25 years’ in diverse marketing and sales roles within the graphic arts/commercial print industry in Asia and North America. She is based in the Los Angeles area.
Todd Blumsack was named director, label and packaging sales for Xeikon America, and manages the direct sales team as well as the company’s relationship with its distributor Anderson & Vreeland. He reports to Hans Gerinckx, vice president, global label and packaging sales and channels. A former Xeikon sales director, he rejoins the company. A graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology, Blumsack has vast leadership experience across the print industry holding marketing and sales roles. He is now located in the Charlotte, N.C. area
Formerly Xeikon’s North American sales manager for strategic accounts, Mark Pomerantz has been promoted to a worldwide role as Xeikon’s manager of strategic global accounts in the graphic arts segment. Pomerantz has a wealth of experience in digital printing, having held sales and marketing positions within the industry. His alma mater is Rochester Institute of Technology’s School of Printing Management and lives in metropolitan Atlanta.
David Wilkins, Xeikon’s vice president of sales for North America, has announced his retirement effective March 30. “His leadership played a major role in expanding Xeikon’s presence in the North American market,” said Chatelard. “We are very grateful for all he’s accomplished and we wish Dave and his family the best.”
