Mamata Introduces New Surgical Mask Making Machine

Team Mamata came up with an idea to develop a mask with head over loops in place of conventional ear loops. The company’s design team worked through the day and night to come up with what it considered to be a unique solution for surgical mask manufacturing with inline loop insertion.

Mamata’s Win 200 Mask machine is designed to manufacture multi-ply surgical masks. It can produce the masks at speeds of up to 120 pieces / minute when made with inline loop and nose clip.  The machine can produce mask blanks (without loop and nose clip) at up to 200 pieces / minute.

“We are sure that with this new mask making machine, we will be able to contribute largely to meet the demands of surgical masks globally. We are looking forward to partner with our converting fraternity and take this product to the market,” the company stated in a press release. “Medical masks are a critical source for healthcare workers and others who need them the most. We want to make sure that we are able to address this need and through our high-speed machines, maintain the supply of this critical need.”
