Model TA1 True Tension Amplifier

Dover Flexo Electronics, Inc (DFE) released a new, compact, single-channel amplifier, the model TA1.

The TA1 True Tension™ amplifier receives a tension signal from connected tension transducers (load cells) and outputs a scaled, proportional signal to a PLC, drive or display meter.

The TA1 has built-in diagnostic capabilities allowing for instant identification of faulty load cells, incorrect wiring, calibrations issues and amplifier ADC/DAC failure. Quik-Cal™ push button zero and calibration eliminates pot adjustments and associated drift making calibration easy, fast, and dependable. The TA1’s compact size is designed for DIN rail mounting but can easily be converted to screw mount.

Rugged and economical, the TA1 could be a choice for OEM’s and end users seeking reliable, cost-effective web tension monitoring equipment. The TA1 is covered by DFE’s industry-leading 5 year warranty and is 100 percent backward compatible with all DFE transducers manufactured since 1974.
