Montalvo, international specialists in Web Tension Control and Web Handling, is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year. In 1947, Edwin J. Montalvo founded the company with the core motto, “Build a product right the first time and back it up with the highest quality service and support.”
Montalvo established itself as a worldwide leader in the Web Handling and Web Tension Control industry, from the invention of the dual disc multiple range air brake and clutch for use in continuous unwinding and winding applications, to range expansion and torque-sensing controls systems, to the latest in advanced Tension Control technology coming this year.
