Introduces Digital Solution for Extended Product Passport

At interpack 2023 in Düsseldorf, Securikett, a developer and producer of innovative security labels, will be focusing on sustainability, anti-counterfeiting, and smart packaging.

Just recently, Securikett's product line of sustainable and environmentally friendly security labels has been expanded to include paper labels with integrated opening flap and peel-off barrier. According to the company's management, the IT'S PAPER family now includes a broad portfolio of diverse paper labels that are equipped with a wide range of security features that make a positive contribution to the circular economy. "Cardboard and paper packaging can be recycled together in the simplest way with these new paper security labels, as they remain firmly anchored to the packaging," explained Werner Horn, CEO of the Austrian-based security label producer.

Another hot topic is product digitalization, which is a powerful system that will gain further importance in the upcoming years. "We are presenting our IoT platform Codikett, which enables users to ensure full insight into the lifecycle of each individual product item. The range of applications is broad, from supply chain management and consumer engagement to product authentication and track & trace, to name just a few possibilities," saidOliver Kotzina, Head of IT.

Securikett's core business, security solutions against counterfeiting, tampering, and product diversion, will also be a fixture at interpack. These security solutions enable retailers and consumers to distinguish original products from counterfeit or illegally traded items. Visitors can look forward to demonstrations of impressive security features such as extraordinary opening effects.
