Pearl Technologies Introduces Value, Performance Rotary Perf Units

Both units offer capabilities essential for converting and extrusion operations

Pearl Technologies, a frontrunner in high-speed machine attachments for punching, perforating, and slitting film in the converting industry and brand of EDGE Industrial Technologies has launched two new products – a Value Rotary Perf Unit and a Performance Rotary Perf Unit. Both units include a standard Pearl blade that fits the customer’s individual needs.

“For nearly 40 years, Pearl Technologies has been revolutionizing flexible film manufacturing, and these two new units continue that tradition,” said Chris Benford, Sales Director, Pearl Technologies. “No two customers are alike, which is why offering products that address different needs, like these two rotary perf units, is something that differentiates Pearl from others and we’ll continue to do moving forward.”

Value Rotary Perf Unit

The Value Rotary Perf Unit is ideal for converters seeking a reliable and efficient solution for perforating film. Optimal for high-volume production with minimal adjustments, the unit is designed for easy set up and operation, with no oil, grease, or lubricants required for operations. And the interchangeable blades and vertical adjustment provide a range of cut-and-tie variations, while an optional brush roll offers enhanced performance.

Performance Rotary Perf Unit

For applications demanding precise cut-and-tie adjustments, the Performance Rotary Perf Unit provides leading perforation technology, as well as pneumatic actuation and quick-release hub functionality for swift blade change. Efficiency and reliability also are achieved through a corrosion-resistant finish to prevent chipping and flaking. And similar to the Value Rotary Perf Unit, the Performance unit operates without the need for oil, gas, or lubricants, making it ideal for medical applications and FDA-approved materials.

Additional information will be available, and these new units will be on display in booth N-5025 (TGW International) at PACK EXPO International in Chicago, Nov. 3-6, 2024.
