PressAccess Rolls Out GreenAccess Recycling Option
- Published: May 19, 2009
CUMMING, GA | GreenAccess is the latest addition to a growing portfolio of services from the Access Group, which includes PressAccess, a leading supplier of pre-owned printing equipment with reportedly an unparalleled 12-month warranty program; ServiceAccess, a comprehensive service provider for service contracts, repairs and installation of machines; and CleanAccess, an ultrasonic cleaning service for blanket washers and anilox rollers.
GreenAccess allows printers to become their own recycler. GreenAccess will evaluate a shop, assess its material handling needs and install any needed recycling equipment (shredders, balers, compactors, etc.) at no up-front cost to the printer. GreenAccess charges a low flat fee per pound to handle the scrap, and creates competition between the mills, ensuring maximum value for your paper. GreenAccess also coordinates pickup and delivery of the recycled scrap between the printer and the mill. All fees and the cost of the recycling system are deducted from the increased waste revenue.
“Printers that are using compactors or boxes for loose paper are losing money. The only way to have complete control of your waste is to bale it and ship mill direct,” says Clyde Tillman, president of GreenAccess. ”In today’s market, printers cannot afford to pay a middle man to bale their waste. We can set up a baling system to meet every printer’s needs.”
