'Ideas First' for Nuova GIDUE at LabelExpo 2009

TAVARNUZZE (FIRENZE), ITALY | Nuova GIDUE S.r.l.  will launch a program of research and development for the label and packaging industry at Labelexdpo Europe. A new company slogan, “Ideas First,” will underline the commitment of Nuova GIDUE for added value solutions to converters.

Live video-show demonstrations will be performed during the show on an Xpannd Flexo-Offset Combination press, equipped with two multi-process interchangeable Platforms Flower flexo--RSI Stork screen, six offset units, three flexo units, one heavy duty hot stamping unit, three die-cutting units for a total of 11 print units. A fast Offset-Multiprocess changeover and ink density stability from 12 to 150 mpm will be shown, with an interactive video/live demonstration.

Nuova GIDUE also introduces details of the new Full Combat, the highest peak of technology for the Combat flexographic series, with the introduction of PC Remote Control integrated with the newest release of the patented Intelligent Register for the short set-up times and reduced waste. A new Pro-Ink inking system will be unveiled for high speed performances (up to 200 mpm) with UV inks. The Full Combat can print a wide variety of film and paper and is suitable for the production of aluminum foils and complex laminated substrates (tooth paste tubes etc.).

Nuova GIDUE S.r.l. also is entering the security printing industry with the introduction of a complete new Intaglio printing machine (I-4) with an innovative concept for the packaging industry.
