Improve Folding Carton Bond Strength

MENOMONEE FALLS, WI | Enercon Industries Corp. reports its Dyna-A-Mite IT atmospheric plasma surface treater increases adhesive bond strength for both hot melt and cold glue adhesives. Economical systems are said to increase folding carton production speeds and generate cost savings by allowing the use of less expensive adhesives and by eliminating the need for mechanical surface preparations such as glue flap roughening and perforating.

Plasma treatment reportedly provides a benefit to any carton adhesive application including glue flap strength and window adhesion. Can treat a wide variety of materials including polyboard, specially coated surfaces, and UV lacquered surfaces.
