Charter Films Increases Coextrusion Capacity

SUPERIOR, WI | Charter Films announces that the new Windmoeller & Hoelscher coextrusion line it installed late December 2008 will increase its capacity to meet demanding delivery requirements. Equipped with three individual extruders and state-of-the-art control to optimize extrusion performance and product quality, the new line will offer customized film solutions for the food and medical packaging markets. The line also offers reduced energy costs, scrap, and downtime to allow reduced manufacturing costs and assist with Charter’s sustainability efforts.
