East Brunswick, NJ | Century Packaging has invested in a six-color Mitsubishi Diamond 30000LX press with UV coating capabilities. The 40 in. press prints on paper, board, and plastic in thicknesses ranging from 0.016-0.040 in. CEO Tom Picciolo Jr. says Century will focus more on cosmetics packaging.
“With the Diamond 30000LX, we will be in an excellent position to take on the competition and grow our sales,” he says. The press is outfitted with the SimuChanger automated plate changing system. It replaces all size plates in perfect register in just over a minute, Picciolo says.
