Assuring Quality Worldwide

NORTH RHINE-WESTPHALIA, GERMANY

Nordenia Intl., a producer of films for flexible packaging applications, has installed AVT's PrintVision/Argus process control and quality assurance system at facilities in Germany, Poland, and Spain.

The system combines an area scanning camera for process fault detection with an LCCD camera for quality assurance. The camera inspects 100% of the web 100% of the time.

Nordenia, which has 17 subsidiary production sites worldwide and employs more than 3,000 people, says an additional AVT system will be installed soon in Russia.
