Pilot Line Has New Coating System

Fribourg, Switzerland | Polytype Converting reports a new coating system for functional coatings available on its pilot line. The technology centre is equipped with a chamber doctor blade operating in the six o'clock position.

The chamber doctor blade type AGS 2500 “System BASF” is able to coat solvent and solventless coating medias and works with two separate pressure chambers. It is said to allow the production of perfectly transparent coatings, free of foam.
