Plastic Packaging Adds Third F&K

HICKORY, NC | Plastic Packaging has purchased its third Fischer & Krecke press in the past three years, adding an eight-color FP 14S gearless CI flexo press equipped with smartGPS technology. The press is designed for short- or long-run work and is engineered to facilitate rapid changeovers. It features a lateral sleeve loading system, automatic viscosity and wash-up system, automatic winder for on-the-fly roll change, and web video viewing.

According to VP Preston Bryant, “The press we selected will allow us to run shorter jobs with the most advanced set-up and waste reduction technology available in the flexo printing industry.”
