Color Control Brings Business to 3C

CLAYTON, NC | 3C Packaging has completed a color-matching and transition process for an aspirin company and its various brands. The aspirin company's goal was to reach a uniform look across its full product line and to apply the same level of precise measurement that occurs for other features of the carton (dimensions, caliper, etc.) to the color-matching process.

Using spectrophotometric color control, 3C reports it was able to match the customer's targets for color approval as well as maintain the color accurately within established limits throughout each run. Now the aspirin company's full line of products are packaged by 3C. Because the color has been established and maintained based on the graphic manager's approval, color verification is no longer required as part of the inspection process, resulting in a savings of time and money.
