Presses Sold at Uteco's Open House

KENNESAW, GA | Uteco North America welcomed more than 200 converters and vendors to a three-day open house event at its headquarters. The Diamond HP 808 GL press was demonstrated running a six-color job with two full coverages at 2,000 fpm. The press was sold during the open house to flexible packaging converter Lallypak, Hillside, NJ. The company says a new automatic impression system called Kiss and Go will be offered in North America during 2011, as will a new color matching system. The company also says it will continue to focus on the environmental benefits of its presses, including waste reduction, energy savings, and environmentally conscious inks.
