Rogers To Feature R/Bak Cushion Mounting Tapes at Info*Flex

ROGERS CT | Rogers Corp. will exhibit its broad range of R/bak® PSA2 and SA 2000 cushion mounting tapes for narrow and wide web applications at the upcoming INFO*FLEX 2011, to be held May 2—3 in Indianapolis, IN (Booth #910/912).

R/bak PSA rubber-based adhesives are claimed to offer the highest adhesion and shear properties in comparison to acrylic or silicone. They are best suited for printing applications that are susceptible to UV and elevated temperatures, and are available in a variety of thicknesses, including 020.

R/bak SA 2000 acrylic-based adhesives provide consistent, resilient cushioning for flexographic printing, says the company, allowing printers to better leverage the capabilities of today’s high speed flexo presses to maintain solids, reduce dot gain, and eliminate gear banding.

R/bak Cushion Mounting Materials, with an advanced open-cell urethane foam technology, provide cushioning needed to reduce pressure and absorb shock better, says the company, and are said to maximize performance in both speed and final print quality, resulting in lower overall costs.
