Genpak Gets Productivity Boost

NEW BERLIN, WI | Flexotecnica, a div. of the Cerutti Group, will supply Genpak LP, Aurora, ON, Canada, with a new ten-color XD press designed to reduce startup waste dramatically. The press also provides new standards for eco-friendliness with a compact, energy-efficient drying system.

Rick Sexton, print manager at Genpak, says, “When we saw the new XD press running in Italy during the K Show, we realized Flexotecnica had made huge strides in the area of waste reduction on setups, in both time as well as material.” The 52-in. wide press provides full washup of all color decks in four minutes.
