Platemaking System Aids Growth

Amherst, NY | Packstar Flexible Packaging is bringing more of its plate production in-house with new solutions from Kodak. Adding to its other Kodak products, the company recently added a FLEXCEL NX digital flexo system to produce plates internally.

“We see a tremendous opportunity for growth with the new FLEXCEL NX system,” says Packstar CEO Andy Sharp. “By adding to the Kodak solutions we already have, we are increasing our plate capacity while maintaining greater control over the production process. We are very particular about the products we use, and we have been very pleased with the performance of the FLEXCEL NX plates.”
