ITW Acquires Ion

GLENVIEW, IL | Illinois Tool Works has acquired Ion Systems, Alameda, CA, a producer of electronic static control products. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Ion Systems will be a wholly owned subsidiary of ITW and will become part of the company's existing ionization and static electricity control business.
