Maxcess European Open House Event returns in 2022
After a Covid-enforced hiatus in 2020, the biennial European open house event is returning in 2022 at the manufacturing facility of RotoMetrics, a Maxcess Brand, in Aldridge, UK
September 21-22, 2022, Maxcess Europe, a global leader in innovative products and services for web handling applications, opens its doors of their RotoMetrics manufacturing facility in the UK to printers, converters and packaging specialists from around the world.
With the theme “Innovation and Sustainability of Print,” the event welcomes more than 30 major co-suppliers with table-top exhibits and experience presentations from industry lead speakers on cutting-edge developments. The biennial label and packaging industry networking summit has taken place for the last 10 years and is free to attend, with registration via a dedicated event page portal.
Neil Lilly, Regional Sales Director at Maxcess, commented, “I felt this was a must do event for 2022, especially with some major shows being cancelled. Many of our customers were enquiring about when would the Open House be making a return and I felt it was necessary for our markets to have an opportunity to come together in one place with a variety of solution providers on hand.”
This year’s theme reflects Maxcess’ commitment to sustainability as part of its broader ESG effort and highlights the importance of its ecological footprint. Key speakers from the printing and packaging world support the summit
Gillian Garside-Wight, Head of Sustainability at Sun Strategy, talks about managing packaging sustainability, followed by Jo Stephenson, MD, of PHD Marketing & Co- Founder of Women in Packaging UK who gives an overview of label trends in 2023.
Liam Barbary, BA(hons) FIMMM, illuminates a carbon footprint and its cost modelling and shares best practices. Sanjay Patel, founding partner of Packaging Collective, reports on scaling innovation for rapid growth.
Roger Black and Debra Searle will round out the event, sharing their own personal challenges, with Roger being one of the most successful sportsmen in the UK and Debra respectively rowing the Atlantic Ocean on her own. Both will share their lifelong experiences with combined inspirations and related business techniques.
