Precision-machined idlers with custom groove patterns eliminate trapped air that causes web slipping. Machined surface patterns said to be ideal for eliminating trapped air include the spiral “V” groove, the herringbone groove, the diamond knurl, and the micro groove. Grooves are available on all company rollers, including aluminum, steel, stainless steel, and rubber covered idlers, and are offered in a variety of sizes and finishes.
